Description

"Ted Siddoway, an architect, lived on the east side of Telegraph Hill in San Francisco's North Beach for 53 years. The apartment building he chose was perched on a steep cliff with step-down apartments stacked against the hill. He lived at the bottom apartment with over 90 steps to reach his front door. His memories gives us a sense of what it was like to be perched in his eagle's nest."

Interview date : July 14, 2006 ; transcript dates : April 24, 2007
